Glitter Magpie / Magpie Magazine 2008 -2017

The idea of a glossy magazine for the thinking woman started organically, from an enormously popular a blog I started in 2008 called The Glitter Magpie. Initially, I started with an online publication but after receiving funding via the TV show, Dragon's Den, I launched a print magazine and website. The title was niche and artistic and championed new creative talent from a wide community of writers, photographers, and stylists to produce a unique and original title.

Magpie was distributed nationally to Dunnes Stores, Eason, Tesco and many independent newsagents, with a circulation of 21,000.
